About me!
My name is Steven Bradbury and this site all about me! So, strap yourselves in and prepare for a roller coaster ride of epic proportions … actually, I have no idea where I’m going with this!? Enjoy!
Ok, so I’ll put a little more effort into it this time, here goes…
I was born in Lichfield, Staffordshire on the 4th January 1978. To be honest, I don’t remember much about it, to say it was a bit of a blur is an understatement, so I’ll fast-forward a few years . . .
Childhood. I had a happy childhood, from what I can remember, but I’m not exactly the memory man however the main things that did stick in my mind were Lego, Transformers and fishing. Infact, many years on these are still my favourite things and now that I’m an adult, don’t laugh, I have money. Money = Lego and Transformers. I now have more Lego and transformers, than I did when I was a kid! Ah well, where are the rules that state that I have to grow up? Last time I checked, there were none.
Fishing with my Dad was always one of my favourite pastimes. We would always have great fun and spend most of our time on summer evenings fishing for carp. Great days, but the sad thing about growing up is that you tend to move onto different things. In my case it was music and beer. What a great combo, No regrets there! Music quickly became my life. I took up Bass guitar at the age of 15 and have stuck with it up to the present day and love it just as much now as I did back then. I have never looked back, but I would never pass up an opportunity to go fishing with my dad either. Infact over the past year or so I have taken up fishing again in a big way, sadly due to my present position at work I seem to have a lot less free time than I did in teenage years, but we still seem to be able to fit the odd session in here and there.
I used to play in an awesome band called SERAPHIDIAN. Sadly we have had to call it a day due to the Vocalist/Guitarist starting a shiny new life/job in the states and the Drummer has moved onto other things. The guys in the band were like brothers to me and the music we created was nothing short of incredible. I am very proud of what we have achieved over the years so I have dedicated a section of this site to Seraphidian, so check it out and go visit our myspace!
As you may have guessed by now, this isn’t in any sort of order. I simply write things down as I think of them. As you can tell by this statement, I just thought of it, so I wrote it down. This is the way things go with me. I’ll think of something, forget about it for a period of time and then just blurt it out at some random time. Normally too late.
My brother, Paul. He is awesome; we get on really well and are like some kind of crazy best friends or something. When we were younger we always got on like, well brothers. We would play fine for a bit then it would end up tippy-tapping. Now we are all grown up we get on better than ever. We both like the same things and are both well up for a laugh. When we get together expect things to get silly, very silly.
Ok, by now your probably thinking I’m a geeky homo that loves the cock! Well, you’d be wrong. Very wrong. This sneakily brings me onto the best thing in my life. Her name is Christine and she is my wife. I would do anything for her, she makes me so happy. Put simply, she is my world . . .
